David Alfaro is a sculptor, sociologist, and son of ceramics. His work is based on the symbolism of social and cultural representations. He always conducts a historiographical, epistemological and semiotic study prior to the construction of his unique pieces using alternative techniques to create unique and unrepeatable effects and textures through direct fire. He manifests the dichotomy between beauty and trauma in the movement captured in the composition of his sculptures. An eternal but fragile moment that reminds us that beauty can be preserved or destroyed by the will of the one who keeps his works in their care.
