JOB CHÁVEZ

He is a sculptor from Mexico City who has been involved with art
and beauty from an early age due to his relationship with his
father, although it wasn’t until a few years ago that he forged a
beginning in the art scene. Over time, he has drawn inspiration
from flora and fauna, becoming a spectator of imaginary
characters.

Having studied architecture at UNAM allows him to fully explore
fields such as drawing, modeling, interpreting shapes, textures,
and various means of expression that he manifests by relating
human nature to animal and plant nature, keeping in mind the
reality that we are all living beings sharing a common unique
space. He is interested in the respect for different species by
humans, as only recognition and consideration of our
coexistence on the planet will allow moderation and a more
conscious perspective in our way of inhabiting. Thus, through
modeling and subsequently the process of lost-wax bronze
casting, he manages to depict fantastic beings that refresh and
embody this idea of healthy coexistence.

He has successfully collaborated with galleries in Mexico City,
Monterrey, Oaxaca, Vallarta, and Los Cabos with the desire to
continue carving out this path.
