A prolific and highly skilled self-taught artist, Gary has also taken several specialized art classes at Cornish College of the Arts and Pratt Institute. Early in his career, he worked at two art frame shops, where he learned about presenting art. This experience provided him with the opportunity to gain valuable business
knowledge in the art world. Eventually, he branched out as an independent artist, excelling in various subjects, including painting and sculpture, and selling many artworks over the years.
After moving to the Seattle metro area, Gary decided to fully embrace his love for art in all its forms. In early 2020, he transitioned from creating three-dimensional glass art back to canvas, where he began his journey as a young artist painting iconic celebrities, particularly portraits. He perfected his technique of creating depth with a fine finish using airbrushes, a refined range of brushes, and a vibrant color palette. In 2024, he began his Aztec Warrior series, inspired by the earliest history of the central and southern regions of Mexico.
